You'd need a really fast computer to render the animations though sometimes just rendering the 3d model takes long.

Some are days to be exact Smile Though some pro uses large and powerful computers to render those movies from pixar which are purely made from blender, cool huh. I know the basics of blender, I can only do simple 3d objects though I can't do any animations. It's a one tough program.

Always start with experimenting! Wink I have always done that. You discover some things and then when you watch tutorials you learn more additions. Works wonders! Wink

I don't kinda agree that experimenting right away with Blender will be a good thing, It's just hard in my opinion though when I started blender, I followed a guide entitled 'From Noob to Pro'. Here, founded the link Smile

DF, you can't make c4d's with Blender Smile You need aphophysis or something. ^^

GK, no problem, glad that I helped and don't worry, everyone starts from something like that.

for c4d you actually need cinema 4d which is a 3d program also but you can make c4d with that program as well as 3d models. I'm not sure if you can do it in blender or not but i'm thinking if its a 3d program you could. But it'd be alot harder. Apophysis is a fractal program and makes fractals. There is also a program called Agony that makes some pretty good fractals also.

That was my impression too. It's been used to make short animated films and such.
