I personally think that pictures can describe better than words can.

It has the ability to literally show what you mean instantly instead of trying to explain something to someone which can take a while if they do not understand what you are talking about.

What do you guys think?

Yes, I agree. It's like 1000 words = 1 picture. Emotions can be better portrayed in pictures than words.

Aha!! but without the ability to explain yourself using voice or typing, then a picture can also just be a meaningless piece of art.
but i like photography and pictures aswell, i was just playing the devils advocate there..

They do say a picture tells a thousand words. You can interpret alot from one picture

Another one of your roadkill pics Just by looking at it, I can tell what it's pointing out. Some people just can't explain in words what they are really feeling. Feelings are meant to be felt and not to be described right? So why bother explain them in words when you already know what it feels like? ^^

Sometimes people don't need words to describe a picture...sometimes it just does it all by itself
