I can't really define it myself even though it's obvious by the name sharing, can anyone there explain to me what does it mean?

I think it means where you share the same server as other people? My company does hosting and the person in charge of the hosting knows more about it lol but we do 'shared hosting' where all the clients use a same server?

well here is the difference a DEDICATED SERVER is a server that only the ONE person has a site hosted on it wheras a SHARED HOSTING plan is cheaper and is divided into parts so it can be used my multiple peoplw
