This is a couple of the html codes i know and have used before.
.
this is a background box code that you can put a picture into then have text over the top of it.
.
<table height=300 width=300 background= the url of your picture goes into here border=4>
<tbody><tr><td valign=top><p> your text goes into here </p></td></tr></tbody></table>
.
This is html picture fading code.
.
<img style="filter: alpha(opacity=100,finishopacity=0, style=2)"src=" your picture url goes into here">
.
the setting for both those codes can be changed for different effects etc.
ie.. height, width, valign=top/bottom/center, border=0-10, opacity= any number,style= any number, etc.
.
you can also put both these codes together, add the picture fading code into the background code where it says.. "the url of your picture goes here"
Here's one i made for a marvel movies forum using that effect.

Very cool...HTML gets a little hard to memorize.
That's why I always copy and pate it on to notepad.

Thanks guys, yeh html is very hard to remember, if some codes work for me then i actually do write them down... y'know, write, as in with a pen, and in a notepad, made of paper,... c'mon, you all remember what paper is dont ya ? Laughing
