Website creation using mac?

Has anyone ever made a website using a mac? ILife or something? They have some nice styles to use

Nope the only time i've used a mac was back in elementary where i played number munchers, orgen trail, and that dino zoo game where you raise dinosaurs... oh the good time

you think so? I think alot of graphic designers prefer mac's. But i dont think there are as many resources out there for mac users as there are window users? They do look alot cooler and i think their interface is alot more professional

exactly what I mean. The interface and looks catch my eye! About the resource and program thing. You can run bootcamp which has OSX and Vista, XP on same hardrive.

Although you can get the latest programs and design stuff on macs

Im gonna ask my aunt if i can get the new macbook pro, but my cousin has the year older one, so she may give me that one.
Hopefully i can get it!

Think i'll stick to windows

I prefer linux, since its free and needs more effort.

Getting back to the topic, i am using a mac, i use Iweb 09 for my website, you can check it out. personally, it is the easiest application for websites i have ever used. It uses code but it makes allt eh code for you, you just drag n drop, everything looks nice

I don't really like Macs because not all software applications are compatible with their OS.

There are some really useful softwares that are mad only for mac. IWeb for instance, is one of the preferred web design programs.

I've never used them. I don't even have a Mac.

I have an iMac 20" with Vista installed using Boot camp,
iWeb tends to generate bad code though.

Meh, if you're going to emulate a system, just use Linux as your base. Then fire up any vBox and run the .iso files to emulate Mac, Windows [98 XP Vista 7 + the servers], or Linux distros.

I HATE Mac's honestly, I find them too limited. Sure, you can't break anything, but there's not as much freedom as there is in Linux or Windows. If you must use Mac, then use Dreamweaver. I hate that as well, so people who like Mac's should like it

I just use texteditor in Linux for my web stuff, and filezilla for my FTP. I use a vBox with Windows for Photoshop though.

I loooove macs.... so i disagree with you... sorry, but i dont really want to debate which is better, i think it is just a matter of opinion. Also, FileZilla is an amazing FTP service, also for those with Macs try Transmitter.

FileZilla really is, isn't it? I love it being so simple yet working wonders. When it worked on Linux I was kinda in shock to be honest. Made my day lol.

Making a website on Mac is no different to making it on Windows lol (if you use same software). The only difference is when it comes to rendering VERY large images, video or audio.
